Who am I, and what is Jackalope Crochet?

Hi, my name is Belinda and I am a crochet artist and designer from Perth Western Australia.

Two of my biggest inspirations and motivators are actually the name sake of my business, I have a couple of very cute and very sassy dwarf lop house rabbits called Lola and Digby. Myself and my husband adopted them from a rescue back in 2021 after seeing their story on Facebook, They had come from a very concerning rabbit hoarding situation. Today they are probably some of the most spoilt bunnies you would ever meet!

I believe in the art of craftsmanship and the beauty of handmade treasures. I take influence from the environment around me to inspire my products, I love the colours and shapes of nature and do my best to interpret these into my work. Working with different fibre types and mediums is such a fun way to explore all that crochet has to offer, and I do my best to share the things that I have learnt about crochet through my blog.
